Lulu was our first Maltese ... we got her as a puppy from a disreputable breeder, as we didn't know any better at the time. Her personality problems have been quite a challenge over the past ten years, but she has also provided a great deal of entertainment. Here she is waiting patiently to answer the phone!!

Jack joined our family when he was being retired as a local breeder's stud dog ... he is now eleven years old. Jack has always been the perfect Maltese -- patient with grooming, always wanting a belly rub, and wagging his tail like crazy if you just walk through the room he is in!! He's been very good with each of our three rescues as they've joined our family, but sometimes will look at us with this "another one?" look on his face!

Keesha is our first Maltese. Her birthdate is 7-1-94. She is a loving, caring and calm little sweetheart. She loves almost everyone and the feeling is mutual. Her day isn't complete without at least a hundred belly rubs a day.

Lexi is our second Maltese. Her birthdate is 12-8-98. She is pretty much the opposite of Keesha. She is fiesty, a dare devil, very vocal, especially when she throws her head back like a howling wolf. She can find a way to get any attention she thinks she is entitled to, and she thinks she is entitled to it all.

Phoebe is my oldest and will be turning 2 soon. Phoebe is a Cockapoo who is the friendliest little dog. She just loves attention from anyone, humane and canine. She loves to sit on your lap or curl up beside you, and loves to be petted. She is very special and most people who meet her fall in love with her, and tell me how special she is. Phoebe is always trusting, and gives her love freely to everyone.

Cali is a Havanese, tiny in size but big in spirit. She exuberantly greets people and quickly wins over their hearts. She and her sister, Mira, are inseparable, playing and sleeping together. Cali is privately delighted that Mira came along since Mira gets into so much trouble that Cali can play the innocent angel without a lot of questions being asked.

Mira is our youngest Havanese. She's been an active and involved pup since arriving at our home in June 2000. Mira watches everyone's interactions and makes the rounds each morning to greet every living creature in the house. Her tail stops wagging only in her sleep. (And have I mentioned she's as mischievous as they come?)
