HARD BISCUITS
2 cups - Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup - canned chicken or beef broth 1/4 cup dry yeast 1/2 Teaspoon (or more) Garlic Powder 1/4 Teaspoon Food Coloring (Optional add to broth) >Mix dry ingredients and add Broth. Food processor works well to mix ingredients >Knead dough, roll out cut into shapes >Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Turn off oven Leave treats in oven overnight to get hard. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

SOFT BISCUITS
2 cups - Whole Wheat Flour 3/4 cup - Water 1 cup Wheat Germ 1/2 Teaspoon (or more) Garlic Powder 1/2 cup Shortening 1/2 cup Powdered Milk 1 Egg 2 Tablespoons Oil >Mix ingredients >Knead dough, roll out 1/2 thick cut into shapes >Bake at 300 for 30 minutes, or less. Remove from oven. Can be cooked longer if hard biscuits are desired. >Store in airtight container, or refrigerate if storing for a long period of time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
WEIGHT REDUCTION DIET
1/4 lb. lean Ground Beef, or Ground Turkey 1/2 cup DRY Cottage Cheese 1 can Carrots 1 can Green Beans 1 1/2 teaspoons Bone Meal >Brown ground beef and drain. (Its easier to brown a lot at once, and then freeze the required amount in baggies) >We could only find Bone Meal in tablets, so we used a pill crusher >Mix all ingredients together, and refrigerate. |
